The handling and unloading of barrels in a food or sanitary environment brings risks of contamination of their contents. As for the handling of these barrels, traditional methods such as forklifts or other industrial motorized vehicles are not acceptable in sanitary production facilities. For the unloading process, a standardized and certified pumping system must be used to ensure a hygienic transfer.

Using a QTS sanitary twin screw pump mounted on an electric motor, the QDU Hygienic Drum Unloader from Q-Pumps addresses the previously mentioned contamination issues. With two different tracking plates to accommodate various barrel diameters, a state-of-the-art interface and an electric drum pump, the QDU provides sanitary and fast unloading.
